Who is PHIMECA?

Phimeca Engineering is an engineering company specialized in providing solutions to design and operate complex systems in a robust and reliable way. Phimeca does this through physical and data modeling.

Phimeca operates in various fields (nuclear, automotive, aeronautics, defense) for customers such as EDF, AREVA, CEA, Renault, EADS, etc… Phimeca is also developing R&D actions in collaboration with these major industrialists and university teams on the theme of uncertainties, through projects co-financed by the National Research Agency or the European Union (material fatigue, effect of electromagnetic waves on the human body, non-destructive testing, etc.).
Missions

Within our Calculation team, in connection with the team leader, your missions as a Mechanical Calculation Engineer will consist in producing and/or monitoring the realization of projects consisting in :

the realization of structural calculation studies in finite element mechanics: static, linear or non-linear analysis, vibration (DSP, earthquake…), buckling, composite calculation, fast dynamics (Shock, Impacts…), simulation of large deformation processes.
the realization of thermal studies in stationary conditions

Eventually, and while keeping a strong technical component, your position may evolve towards commercial relations and customer follow-up.

Candidate profile

Holder of an engineering degree in structural mechanics, you are interested in a position in a company, multidisciplinary, which will allow you to use your technical skills in high technology applications, to improve your technical and scientific skills but also to transmit your already acquired experience.

You have skills in mechanics, with particular expertise in mechanical calculations for the Nuclear industry (RCCM, ASME standards, …).

You master the ANSYS calculation software(s) as well as possibly other software such as Abaqus, Nastran, Forge, …..

You are fluent in English and have a real good interpersonal skills. Your natural curiosity and open-mindedness allow you to integrate easily in a multidisciplinary project team.

Autonomous, organized, ambitious, you are at ease in a dynamic work environment that constantly offers new scientific and personal challenges.

A first experience in an industrial environment with convincing results is required (internship or first professional experience).
